Home inspection is a highly technical and complicated profession.   Certification requires hundreds of hours of study, along with the in-field practice of inspecting homes.   Like a doctor in the medical profession, no two patients (homes) are alike. Developing a professional skill of assessing many home systems and diagnosing potential problems requires strong technical knowledge, a detective's eye for seeing and uncovering hidden issues and a fine attention to detail.   This information is then summarized in the debrief with the client and captured in the home inspection report.    After speaking with many, many clients and realtors one theme rings...The information can be complicated and overwhelming! A Home Inspector can easily overload a client with information and technical jargon that will not be useful at the time of the sale.  We address this our communication style and easy to read to report.   We will always be ready to answer your questions for the entirety of your ownership of the home.

For those who enjoy the techinicality of understanding the details of their home, our home inspection experience is educative, whether you are a first time home buyer or an expereinced home buyer. Our goal is that that inspection investment and experience will leave with the information you need to make an informed home purchase decision and that will provide you a tool for future home maintenance planning.   We encourage you to ask questions along the process. Having you review inspection at the time of the inspection or remotley, also gives us an opportunity to provide you with tips on home care and maintenance. For instance, you can learn how to change the furnace filter, turn off the water, gas, and electricity in an emergency.

A home inspection is valuable, but unless the experience is well-documented, most people won’t remember all the important details. That’s why we provide a comprehensive written report  with photos that are mobile or tablet friendly to serve as your guide for as long as you own the home. It not only describes the house components and their condition, but also provides insight into what improvements will be necessary, and when.
